Feature Routes are connections between features that allow an originating feature to talk to a destination feature.
- How to draw a route
- A user selects the small circle on either side of the originating feature and uses the cursor to draw a route to the small circle on either side of the destination feature.
- If the originating feature has no connections allowed, then the “circle/slash” symbol appears showing that connections are not allowed.
- How to specify the "Ingress"
- The destination feature publishes one or more ingress points that other originating features can use to connect to it. When the feature route is drawn, the user can select the feature route by clicking on the line representing the feature route. The properties panel for the route will open on the right side of the canvas. The user can see the originating and destination features and the ingresses and can select which ingress to use.
