The Design Studio is an application for designing and deploying the edge computing architecture. The target user for the Design Studio is the Solution Architect. The user designs the architecture by dragging & dropping components onto a canvas, connecting them, and configuring them.

Creating an Architecture in the Design Studio

Creating an Architecture
- The user can create an architecture from scratch or start with a reference architecture and customize it.
Adding Components to an Architecture
- The building blocks of the architecture are the Micro Clouds, The Node Groups, Device Types and the Routes.
Processing an Architecture
- An architecture is then “processed” to create a description as well as installation artifacts.
Simulated Deployment of an Architecture
- The user can create a digital twin of the architecture in a cloud and use that to test the architecture.
Physical Deployment of an Architecture
- The user then “deploys” the architecture onto the deployment environment.
